Customer Testimonials

This bistro is excellent! We came here with a Road Scholar group and they did great job handling a large group and giving us all menu choices that we’re just what we wanted. The wine was good, and the pannaccotta had a lovely delicate texture and was perfectly sweet. The chef was very attentive and hospitable. I highly recommend this place.

Super nice place, the food was no-nonsense, meaning not as delicately prepared as pricier places, but hardy and good tasting. We had the bone marrow, duck confit and andouille (intestines stuffed with intestines and tripe), and enjoyed them all.

Thierry and staff are warm and welcoming. Food is delicious and rich. Really enjoyed our meal. The French couple sitting next to us offered to let us taste the roasted bone marrow with toast they were enjoying.

The chef was the cheeriest person ever! Food was delicious! I was told the food they make is very traditional so you’re in for the real deal coming here!

Everything was perfect, a tasty and refined cuisine, a welcome and impeccable service. A corner to explore with delights.

There are hardly any words for what we experienced tonight at this wonderful place. The chef greeted us at the door and showed us to a table. He immediately put us at ease… Now as I lie in bed, clean, refreshed and full, I’m tremendously happy. What started out as a simple quest for sustenance became one of the best meals of the trip, and on our last night here. Mon dieu!

… I’ve eaten at Le Coin three nights in a row. First night, Cassoulet, which was superb! Night #2, Braised veal. Same as the night before! Night #3, Not sure the name, some sort of cream sauce over a wrapped ham dish… The wine was always perfect, the atmosphere is very classic bistro, and the owners could not have been friendlier.

This place is amazing! I hesitated upon reviewing as I didn’t want it to give up a local spot but this is about as local as it gets. We walked in and were immediately greeted… We asked the chef to give us whatever was good. The wine and food was perfection, the atmosphere is very classic bistro, and the owners could not have been friendlier! This was so fun!

The neighborhood bistro par excellence. The chef is really friendly as well as the staff that they accompany him. The card is traditional but of excellent quality… Black pudding, beautiful presentation and well cooked. The chocolate mousse was also very good. Reasonable price for Paris.

When we walked into Le Coin, the owner came right up to us with a lovely smile and shook our hands, welcoming into his very busy bistrot. It was packed with locals. The staff was professional and friendly. The Confit du Canard (duck) was absolutely delicious… Le Coin is also a wine bar and there was a good price for the Wine of the Day. The food was so good and the whole experience so memorable, that we came back for lunch again the next day and had Le Coin’s Osso Buco. Our second visit was every bit as good. Don’t miss their chocolate mousse.

We had a wonderful experience here tonight! It was our first meal in Paris and we were so happy to have found a place that was smaller, authentic, and not touristy. Our server spoke great English and was extremely helpful in explaining the menu to us and recommending his favorites- which were delicious! Overall, a great experience!!
